It's a playlist.

Don't do that anymore...

the key word here is "xmms" do like i said before, edit, preferences, helper applications, then click new type, file extention will be.. .pls.. right? right.. then what's next? Mime type? ok, put audio/scpls there.. then what? application to use.. right.. put xmms there.. the description you can put what you want.. just keep it clean.. ;)

and if that's all too much for you to remember then when you click on it and it asks you what to do with it say "open with" xmms.. got it?

If you've got realplay installed you can figure this out if you do the same thing as you did for the above xmms part but with the appropriate extension.. mime type.. application (hint /usr/bin/realplay) or maybe just "realplay" will work...

contrary to what some would have you believe, there's nothing wrong with being a newbie. we all were at one point. nothing i hate more than elitists attitudes... except maybe windows users.. those lame losers.. ;)
