So you mean IMAP? Plain pop3 is an issue, but you could always to apop
or spop.

I'm not a RH fan.. SuSE has a great email package for $$$$ that might do
what you
need (acutally it's $999, but it's has gotten some pretty good reviews...
it does like to be installed on a dedicated platform though). See:

...oops... looks like it uses Postfix... of course, that's something RH
user's
like to use (maybe for you as well??).
So.... perhaps you should build your own.... IA (webmail.airmail.net) uses
squirrel mail... it works ok (for the web front end.. I still have my IA
account).
For ease I would recommend running pop over SSL.... but that's just me
(server
side folder management is much better with IMAP of course). SSL pop is
pretty well supported by email clients.
