[NTLUG:Discuss] dhcpcd guestion

My bad - I thought it would be in the man(ual) pages.
Anyway, to be specific - I watched the interface (in terminal) go down, 
and then up (successfully) but no change was made in the connection 
(still didn't work), with either:
  network stop;network start
  network restart
I confess I haven't tried any of these:
  ifdown eth0;ifup eht0
  ifconfig eth0 down;ifconfig eth0 up
Last night I forced the change by disconnecting the network cable, 
issuing /sbin/dhcpcd -n -H eth0, and reconnecting the cable, so I was 
thinking I'd try dhcpcd -k next time.
