[NTLUG:Discuss] application launched on startup

If the Knncitrix exists, it is ok to leave it there. The Snncitrix should
be renamed to Knncitrix. The S means to start that process when entering
the run level 3, the K means to kill it. If the S version of the link
exists, it should be renamed to Knncitrix.

Since he is running Gnome, the system may be configured for a graphical
login, in which case it will boot to run-level 5, not run-level 3. This
means that the directories rc4.d and rc5.d must also be checked for the
existence of an Snncitrix link to ../init.d/citrix.

Good Luck!

Rick.

look in /etc/rc.d/rc3.d for a symlink that might look something like:

Snncitrix -> ../init.d/citrix

there ***may*** also be a Knncitrix -> ../init.d/citrix

if the 'S' symlink exists, either rename (mv) it to X..citrix, where X
is anything other than K or S, or just rm it.

do the same with the 'K' symlink.
