Well, the restriction *was* due to the wasted bandwidth that long
.sig's incurred.  So, let's see...

    The 4 line rule was back in the days of 1200 baud modems.

    With a Megabit/sec of DSL bandwidth, we should be restricting
    people to 4,000 line signatures.

    :-)

OK, so there are *other* reasons to make a restriction - but it's not
as antisocial to exceed good taste as it once was.  I'd say that 10
lines would be a reasonable limit - but I stay within six for reasons
of political correctness.   :-)
