In some of the longer messages, top posting is frowned upon because you 
constantly have to scroll back and forth to see what's actually being 
replied to.

Personally, I don't like top posting because it sort of encourages 
people not to trim their posts, ie - it's easier to put in your one line 
at the top and hit send, rather than take the time to trim off all the 
previous footers and things that are no longer relevant to the conversation.

ObAside: Biggest peeves in e-mail: 1)HTML, 2) Failure to trim, 3) Top 
posting.

ObOnTopic:  I've been playing around with installing source rpms and am 
running into some weirdness:
