I think the Ultra DMA 33 is the number you need to compare
against; that should be the speed of the Direct Memory Access for
your system.  The speeds went 33, 66, 100.  I believe ATA and DMA
reference the same measurements.  If 33 is as high as your m/b
can handle then a 100 will not work.

It's been awhile since I've actually looked at any of this so
anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
