[NTLUG:Discuss] Digital camera & linux

Long time reader, first time poster,
I have a Fujifilm DX-9 digital camera that connects via the serial port.
Is there any way I can connect it with my linux box? I do not have a linux
driver for this camera.

(I am leaving off my linux config intentionally)
I will change distro if someone can give me a way that works.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated,
