Normally this works. Provided that you have libnss_wins.so on your
machine.  However, I noticed that the Samba version on SuSE 8.0,
libnss_wins, seems broken in this regard... I haven't done enough
trouble shooting on it though to say for sure.  I was going to try
compiliing libnss_wins.so myself and seeing it would fix things
in my little test lab.
