Make sure you match your distribution EXACTLY. For example, samba
by default will look for smb.conf in the /usr/local/... tree.
A mismatch could cause confusion if your other samba programs are
looking elsewhere.
IMHO, if your distribution doesn't supply the library, compile the
latest stable copy... I'm not against RPM, but if the vendor
isn't doing to stay up to date, then I think hacking rpmfind
rpm's could just cause more problems.
I'm not trying to be a pain, but it definitely WAS NOT compiled by
default in 2.2.0... though available in the source tree.
