Read the samba documentation that comes with samba.
You need to use smbpasswd to establish "windows" account passwords
on your Linux host... there is documentation that will help
you with synchronization as well. Or better, if you have
a domain controller present, authenticate all usernames/passwords
through it... thus avoiding the need for the extra database.
