[NTLUG:Discuss] Kernel compile..continued

Right...my XConfigs have not changed.  When I boot into the previous 
2.4.18-3 kernel my USB mouse works fine.  

As for GDM,  I can't navigate in X with out a mouse.  Can I run GDM from 
the console?
