[NTLUG:Discuss] Autostart of Java apps in Red hat 7.3

Hello,

I am attempting to set environment variables for Java and auto-start on bootup several Java apps.  I have modified the rc.local file, and added an import class path and path statement so the machine knows where to find java/bin.  I can't even tell if the thing is trying to work as I see no errors/messages during startup, does anyone have some examples of how to do this?
