Seeing as I have a broadband connection and a CD burner, I
thought it might be nice to burn some copies of Linux distros
for use at the meetings--specifically, at the Linux installfests
that start two hours before the meetings. I thought I'd bounce
some ideas off the list to see what can be arranged.
Primarily these CDs would be "on loan"--I would bring them in
with me, and they'd normally go home with me after the meeting
was over. I could conceivably burn copies for people to take
home for themselves, but in that case I'd have to charge a small
fee to cover media costs. CD-R media is cheap, but I'm also
unemployed and close to broke. ;)
I'm able to get my hands on the most recent version of just about
any distro with minimal trouble. One notable exception is SuSE.
