Win98 and linux don't typically use the same file system. Win98 will tell
you bullsheesh like that when
The file system is something other then fat32 or 16.

MadHAt is right though, this isn't a win98 list.

Good luck,
  J

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] Linux at Fry's

Hi I bought one of these things due to a financial crunch (have a little
boy) and recently had to reimage the drive with that Fast Windows Linux CD.
I can't get Win98SE back onto it. I looked in the skimpy guide book and
tried to del-pat as it says, but it doesn't work. Somebody at work told me
it might be that the Win98 is not reading the drive or something b/c when I
run Win98 setup it says that drive C is bad. It has something to do with
the way the partitions are set up or something. Can anyone help me? Thanks
