That just sounds like a virus that asks permission.

actually... If this is the one I read about... it's not a virus. You have to 
download a program and agree to the User License. This says that 
they are going to use your address book and mail a copy of the 
program/greeting card to everyone you know. If they want to view the 
card, they have to agree to send the card to everyone they know...etc. 
More like a worm... but the user has to be dumb enough to agree to 
the terms.
