I suggest go for Red Hat 7.3 as it has Autopartition facility. You do not
need to understand any documentation. All the installation process is like a
breeze, just as windows.
Harshal.

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] installing redhat 6.2
I have a 20 MB harddrive. This drive has been partitioned with Bootit NG.
The 1st 8 megs contains the mbr. The second partion contains 2800 megs with
Windows 98se. The 3rd partion contains Windows XP, this is also 2800 megs.
The forth partition is 90000 megs for data and programs. The last part of
the drive of approximately 3000 megs is not partitioned. I was hoping that
Redhat could be easily installed on this portioned of the drive. I have
attempted to use the diskdurid but frankly I do not understand the
documentation. I also do not want to reinstall Windows XP again. Redhat did
something strange that was not understood.
Is there an easy way to partition the drive without disturbing the other
partitions and programs on same. I want to learn linux and not spend all my
time installing.
Thank you for any support
Bruce
