[NTLUG:Discuss] setting initial console

  I'm running mandrake 8.2, and wanted to set the initial console to 24 
lines due to using a lcd flatpanel display.  It looks like it is 
defaulting to 30 or more lines.  I could not see, because they were off 
the bottom of the display. :)

  Where'd the files go? I used to be able to do this, and it is not 
apparent how to go about it now.  I did a lot of google searching, but no 
one wants to play with the console any more, it seems.
