[NTLUG:Discuss] setting live webcam vedio on web

Hi All

does any have the experience of use webcam through linux fire wall?
I am using RH6.2 2.14.? kernel with iptables. what do I need take for video 
(and instant messenger) stream go through the file wall? the remote site 
(viewer) either use web browser or instant messenger.

I am try to set webcam for prople can see me live. doint it in intranet with 
M$ midea player is easy, but with firewall, I need advise. suggestion on 
setting up this whole stuff for internat are welcome, too.
