I just installed OpenOffice 641 (It came with SuSE 8.0) - and everything
seems to work except when I try to save a file in it's own, native 
format (OpenOffice.org 6.0 Text Document), I get an error:

    General Error,
    General input/output error.

...which is less than helpful!

I can save in *any* non-native format (HTML, RTF, Text, M$ Word, etc)
and I've verified the obvious things:  Directory is correct, directory
is 'drwxrwxrwx' mode, file does not exist already, plenty of disk space
available, etc.

Any ideas?
