[NTLUG:Discuss] LiViD OMS install problem

(Red Hat Linux 7.1)
On running the ./configure for oms-0.1.2, I seem to be down to one last 
issue.  The passage from oms config.log is
 >>
*** The sdl-config script installed by SDL could not be found
*** If SDL was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the SDL_CONF environment variable to the
*** full path to sdl-config.

I cannot seem to find an sdl-config file - any clues or advise welcome.
