We still have plans to switch to some type of Public Key based membership 
acknowledgement and voting process. Since all of the currently identified 
volunteers for making that happen have been overwhelmed with other 
activities, not much has been done beyond defining the framework.

We are expecting to have a local repository of the "authorized member" public 
keys. We do not foresee "publishing" that local repository via a key server 
(or any other mechanism).
