Thanks to everyone for helping out w/ this. I just
wanted to follow up in case anyone else might have a
similar problem.
The FA411 is a supported card, however, the pcmcia
config file got hosed somehow when trying to install
the supplied drivers. (I should have known not to
trust netgear after realizing they couldn't publish a
*working* makefile!)
Anyways, this did the trick:
Look at /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia and verify that
PCMCIA=yes and
PCIC= either yenta_socket or i82365.
Try running:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia start
-- Dave
I already had PCMCIA set to yes, but the PCIC flag
made all the difference. I would recomend heading
over to https://sourceforge.net/projects/pcmcia-cs/ to
anyone that is having pcmcia trouble.
Thanks again,
Phil
