If you know it is off topic why send it at all?
It was an add for their business, something they are making money from,
not a free service, not an event, and not something that is going to
help the general users of our Linux Users Group. I understand what you
mean, and this might have been OK for the Jobs list, but it was very
much SPAM.
Did you read it? It is a place for them to gain leads for their
headhunting. They get 20% of any monies earned and it is all about
getting employers and job seekers together so the FSC can make money.
This is not about OSS, this is about a company using the name "Free
Software" to try and harvest resumes so they can make money off of the
"Free Software" movement and name.
