[NTLUG:Discuss] Looking for a domain registrar...

Good luck on that transferring away from nsi--they
will hold you prisoner, never sending you a request
to confirm the transfer request sent to them by your
new registration company. Well, they will *after*
you fork up another year's renewal fee to them.

I have 3 domains which are non-critical to me so I'm experimenting:
I registered/transferred spamidity.net with droamerica.com. nsi
never sent me a request to confirm. So I figured I'd just wait
until 01/01/03 when all 3 expired. All have now expired and
no longer resolve, but they are still in the whois database
showing nsi as the registration company, thus I am unable to
re-register with droamerica. nsi is holding my domains hostage.
I can promise you I will never register another domain with nsi,
and over time will move all of my domains away from that unethical company.
