Not that I know of.  I've been using that same code through
several versions of KDE - as installed on a basic SuSE
install - with SuSE versions from 6.2 to 8.1.   We've also
run it under KDE under Gentoo Linux and under at least one
version of Gnome under Redhat - dunno what version - I'm a
KDE/SuSE guy.

The only non-standard thing I do to KDE's user preferences is to
put the menu over on the right and to choose 'Focus Follows Mouse'.

I don't think either of those will make a difference though.

I wonder what's going wrong for you ?!?
