[NTLUG:Discuss] Mandrake 9.0 install glitch

I downloaded Mandrake 9.0 from linuxiso,verified the md5sum and burnt to 
disk.Now when i start the install it goes all the way to installing the 
packages and i get "Failed to install XFree86-4.x.x  continue anyway?" 
clicking NO takes me back to the package chooser.Clicking YES continues on 
until i get to the bootloader and i get "mkinitrd failed" Can anyone shed 
some light on this?
