That's the way I run my Window's machines. Windows is not worth
dedicating an entire machine to its use, so it gets only a piece.
VMware also works well to test out networking between machines. Its
easy to set up multiple Linux machines under VMware on the same box.
Just FYI, Windows under Linux seems to run well, where Linux under
Windows does not. It's probably part of the "cooperative multitasking"
that Windows uses. Very similar to having two warring parties locked in
the same room as a weapons cache and told to "play nice". It'll never
happen in our lifetime.
