OK.  Maybe I'm lucky it's worked out so well, but I use a dynamic dns
server (hammernode.org).  My ip changes all the time, but I'm running a
simple perl client, ddclient, which updates my hostname, quickening.hn.org
within a few minutes.  In sendmail I force the domain to be hn.org.  People
email me at local-user at quickening.hn.org all the time and it works fine.
