Sr. Programmer
AmeriPath, Inc. is the nations largest physician and laboratory company
focused on providing anatomic pathology, cancer diagnostic and healthcare
information services to physicians, hospitals, national clinical
laboratories and managed care organizations. The company presently operates
in 21 states and provides medical services through outpatient pathology
laboratories, hospital inpatient laboratories and outpatient surgery
centers.
Our continued growth has created an immediate opportunity for a Senior
Programmer to join our IT team in Dallas.

The ideal candidate will have:

·	A minimum of 5 years experience programming in SQL, programming in
Embedded SQL, programming in Java, software design and documentations with
UML.
·	Experience in developing healthcare related applications (Clinical
applications experience a plus)
·	Thorough knowledge of application software development lifecycle is
required.
Responsibilities will include the design and development, per software
development lifecycle methodology of new software applications using Java
and Embedded SQL, and writing technical specifications for a complete
software product development cycle.
