I can't remember which distrib you've got.  I'm running Mandrake and 
I've got several files in /etc/rc.d prefixed with rc.firewall which 
contain rules that are processed from rc.sysinit.

If you'd like a copy I can send them to you.  These are the defaults 
from the install and I may be able to find the RPM that they came in as 
well.
