Mine worked fine after doing the imps/2 and ZAxis stuff in XF86Config.
It works in Mozilla (but not Netscape), Opera, Konquerer, Evolution.  Not 
in XEmacs, but that's because I haven't setup my .emacs to map those button 
events to line down and line up...

I'm currently running Mandrake 8.1.  I upgraded X to 4.2.1 or whatever the 
latest was, but I had the wheel working before that, so it's not related.
