[NTLUG:Discuss] Icon on Mozilla bookmark.

I saw something odd today.  I visited www.happypenguin.org and 
bookmarked the page in Mozilla.  When I put the bookmark into my 
personal toolbar folder, a tiny icon appeared next to it on the toolbar 
- clearly sent from the happypenguin site.  Now that I look, I notice 
that the slashdot site does that too (only the icon they use is very 
similar to the mozilla default so I'd never noticed it before).

I've never seen that happen before - does anyone know what magic piece 
of HTML/JavaScript/whatever makes this happen?  I'd like to have my own 
web sites emit an icon too.
