[NTLUG:Discuss] scsi tape library question

System: RH 7.1 on i686 (Linux 2.4.2-2)
I just installed a SCSI adapter (Adaptec AHA-2940W/AHA-2940UW) and
attached an Overland LoaderXpress LXLS 10 tape machine to it. This is
the only SCSI adapter in the machine, and the only device on the adapter.

"grep -i scsi /var/log/messages" and "lspci" seem to indicate that the
adapter and device are present, and it has found a "TYPE:
Sequencial-Access" and a "TYPE: Medium Changer"

Please point me to docs or clues on how to finish setting up the devices
(drive and changer) so the system can use them. This my first time
with SCSI anything.
Thanks.
