[NTLUG:Discuss] RPM trying my patience

Ok, this is really starting to get under my skin. I've updated all the
samba versions to 2.2.7-2 except samba-common. When I try to update it
using either Package Manager or the command line, I get this error...

root at localhost up2date]# rpm -Uv --replacepkgs
samba-common-2.2.7-2.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        samba-common = 2.2.5 is needed by (installed)
samba-client-2.2.5-10

Just to check it, I tried installing the client update and get this...

[root at localhost up2date]# rpm -Uv --replacepkgs
samba-client-2.2.7-2.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        samba-common = 2.2.7 is needed by samba-client-2.2.7-2

So...I can't install the common files because the RPM manager thinks the
client is still at 2.2.5 and I can't seem to find a way to tell it to
install it anyway. I've tried using --force, still get the same error.
Any suggestions?

Thanks guys,

Wayne
