I live "in the country", so ISDN is the best I've been able to get. The area
is serviced by Verizon (was GTE when I started), and they've done pretty well
with the ISDN. In fact, you get treated like a business customer instead of
residential. There are no usage restrictions. My only beef with them is they
have have a 100 hour cap on "free" usage, after that, it's $1 an hour (it was
unlimited when I started).

OTOH, a small company near here has started doing wireless DSL, with antanae
on top of water towers. The tower about 3 miles from me is supposed to get
its antanae any day now. Since I should get 384K+ and it'll be $20 a month
cheaper (total), I'm about to switch. I have 2 3-Com ISDN OfficeConnect LAN
modems that have worked well; write me offline if you'd like to work out a
deal. :-)
