  I'd be careful what you bring up in conversation.   Though what you're
talking about is
not explicitly for bipassing M$ licsencing it could certainly be used as
such.   Furthermore, since this is
more or less a public forum, anyone including M$ licsencing goons  could
read this and 
give you or whomever you're trying to help unwanted legal problems.    call
me paranoid if you will.

No, I think he's asking for something that will intercept the UDP (I 
believe it's UDP) packets that XP sends back to Redmond informing them 
of what's on your machine, license #'s, etc.

I haven't heard of a project that does that, Bug, but I'd be very 
interested in hearing what you find for a solution, if you do.
