[NTLUG:Discuss] KDEmail and disappearing messages..

Your best bet is to use an ethernet capture program to capture the packets
send back and forth from your pc and the servers. See if the message
headers are there or not. The problem could be in numerous places from the
indexes to a poorly written server. Messages that don't comply with mime
standards could be at fault. Given all that your best bet is to try and
find a common thread to what is going on. The only way I can see you
getting there from here would be to wathc the packets and check what you are
connecting to when it works all the time and what are you connecting to when
it doesn't.

I've looked for that and similar options but have not found it. Only
certain
messages disappear. I still have other messages in my inbox. I've looked
for expired message configuration and made sure that all that was blank.

I *do* have another IMAP inbox that does NOT hide my messages. UG! :)

thanks..
