What I did:

$ which xmkmf
/usr/bin/X11/xmkmf
$ rpm -qf /usr/bin/X11/xmkmf
XFree86-devel-4.2.0-8
$

This is on my Redhat 7.3 distro.  xmkmf and imake are parts of the
XFree86 development rpm.
