I too have been using StarOffice on Red Hat Linux, since StarOffice 5.0 
when the download was free.  I tried StarOffice 6.0, but went back to 
5.2 (where I am still) because 6.0 was truly buggy - so many "features". 
 I paid for, and am quite happy with StarOffice 5.2, it is just that the 
writeup on Corel "sounded" like they might have some kind of break 
through.  Of course the price could well be a "show stopper", even if it 
cheaper than MS Office - but that's a show stopper of a different color.
