Someone give Chris a chill pill ;) So don't hold back, what do you
really think!

I take it that SCO has never heard of POSIX. Oh that's right, I've used
SCO and I don't think they have.

As I understand it in the early days there were more than a few Unix
types and POSIX standards advocates spending hobby time on Linux. I'll
remind SCO that the idea of doing a Unix clone wasn't unique to a 19 yr
old student. The number of from scratch Unix clones based on POSIX
running in embedded products is staggering.

IMO, what makes Linux such a big deal is that I can have a Unix OS
without paying the outrageous price SCO, AT&T, and IBM charge for their
*nix products. I also don't need to fork over the $$$ for an HP or Dec
machine that'd take more space than my car.

The Unix players never could get it through their thick skulls that Bill
got rich because they wouldn't make their's affordable. Not very many
startups can afford a $100,000 site license or $1,500 a copy for an OS.
