Flower Mount to 635/75 is about a 40 min commute each way.  I'm in 
Coppell and I've done that drive lots.

Yes the local lakes are rec usage.  I grew up in CA and if your use to 
mountain lakes you wouldn't call these lakes.  Yes they do have water in 
them ;)  If you like Bass fishing your coming to the right place!!
