[NTLUG:Discuss] OT- What DSL router do you recommend?

Ok, I've about had it. I now have a second defunct LinkSys ADSL
router. Both lasted just about a year. The first one cost me around
$180 (back when they were fairly new), the last one cost me $90. Both
were 4 port 10/100 BaseT routers. Because LinkSys seems to have a
problem with quality, I have decided not to buy another LinkSys router.
The first one went into a diagnostic mode and would not come out of it.
A call to LinkSys was useless, the said it was dead and there was
nothing they could do with it. I bought another one because I already
had the software installed to use it and it went out last night/this
morning sometime. I always have problems with the modem and router
losing sync anyway, and when I went into the room they're in to reset
them, the router showed a dianostic light and no link light. Tests
connecting computers directly to the modem showed the problem with the
router. I've tried using different cat5 cables from router to modem,
still no link light. It appears that the WAN port is dead because the
router still works for the local network and there is nothing I can find
in the software to attempt a reset of the WAN port itself.
What suggestions do you guys on the list have for me?
