[NTLUG:Discuss] Linux Distro

I tried to download this distro from at least 6 locations mentioned in the mirror list but with no luck. Most of the mirror sites are down. Which mirror did you guys downlad from?

Yes, and you can easily create a mirror "install" on your hard drive to
customize it the way you wish (add or delete packages, tweak configs and
preferences, etc.) and then burn that onto a CD if you choose. You can
also save many configuration settings to a diskette or other writable
medium which can be used in tandem with the CD.
It should pick up most hardware "right out of the box^M^M^MCD", though
you might find a few things that still take a bit of playing around with
in order to operate (at least I had to in order to get a cheap OEM version
of an AudioPCI 128 sound card to work with the sound servers... but that's
half the fun, right?). ;-)
As Chuck suggested, try it... you'll be impressed.
