Our clients are Win-whatever running Oracle Smart Client 10.7 P16.1 - 
the IRIX6.4 stuff is our server.
I don't know what UPS is running database/server/client wise - it kind 
of sounds like they may be wanting their server to talk to ours, but I 
may have that wrong.
Again it is too early for details - they don't seem to be forthcoming 
just yet - I am just trying to get a generalized grip on it as quickly 
as possible.
