- Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, even with the []s and
- remaking the map, and restarting sendmail, it ignores it. I
- think that this is only for incoming mail, and not outgoing.
mailertable is for outgoing routing.
What you need is the following entry:
aol.com smpt:[mail.comcast.com]
What Greg gave you above would handle mail to
relay.aol.com, but not to aol.com itself. (the leading dot,
actually, the null hostname, means match any hostname with
``.aol.com'' as a suffix.)
