just a quick followup... the ssl wrapper stuff is called TLS. That's the 
lastest buzzword ( I think ) Use that in your google search. 


Note... you're going to have to set up SSL certificates and have your 
users install these. 


I'm my own CA so I can get you some SSL certificates if you need some
to test with.
