I know,  but I don't want to have to use a console.  So it is just as
easy to have a script switch the configs and restart X (that I launch
from a GUI).  The method I mentioned is specifically for the Grub menu,
so you could choose docked or not and have a script run that would
change the X config depending on the run level.
