[NTLUG:Discuss] OT - I'm pumped

Ok this is way off-topic so you can hit delete now and I apologize if 
this has offended you.  Well maybe not ;)  This probably qualifies as 
spam and I don't want to spam my friends but I had to share this news 
because I'm about to bust!!

I am really pumped right now!!!  I've talked about what I'm up to with a 
few of you and we've had some list discussions on technical issues 
related to my current endeavours.  But, for the most part I've not 
expanded on this because other than this entire project being done on 
Linux, it is not a Linux topic.

Last December my wife and I decided to change the direction of our 
business.  For the last 10 years my company (New Age Software, Inc.) has 
been focused on doing Custom Software on a contract basis for corporate 
clients.  We decided to change our business to doing custom software for 
internet users and introduce the concept of what we call the Open Design 
process to the internet (this is not an Open Source project but we will 
release some Open Source tools as a result of it).  So we collected up 
all of our pennies, and as many as the banks would let us use ;( and 
hung our butts way out on a limb.  Not having any clients to pay the 
bills has been real stressful to say the least.

After doing some viability research (asking people if they would pay) on 
an idea I've had for a couple years I started development on a game 
called "Galactic Outlaw".  The game is being used as a 1st product and 
tool to introduce the concept of the Open Design process to internet users.

Ok enough on the history lesson.  The reason I'm so pumped is that 48 
hours ago the following news release was not true.  Now this does not 
mean success, especially since I don't have any subscribers yet.  But 
this is a BIG deal in the current scheme of things!!!

Galactic Outlaw is now appearing on a search engine near you.  As a
major step in the advancement of the Galactic Outlaw project the website
can now be found from both Google and Yahoo.  This is a major event not
because New Age Software Internet paid to have Galactic Outlaw put on
the search engines, but because there has been enough traffic to the
site that the search engines found Galactic Outlaw.  This event will
result in a significant increase in visitors to the game and impact the
following that Galactic Outlaw has already established.
