Use a normal mail client that support plain ole pop.

...or...

Both Mozilla and KMail support SPOP as well.. however
newer versions of Mozilla won't work anymore because
the cert from attbi is bad now (I think).  KMail works though.
Set them up to use secure POP (pretty easy.. it's in the
config panels on both tools).
